The ECC SLV is committed to offering navigation support to all Family Child Care Home (FCCH) providers and Family, Friend & Neighbor (FFN) care providers Services Include: – Provides technical assistance to FCCH providers in completing applications for grants and otheropportunities-Shares information with FCCH and FFN providers in new laws and regulationsConnects FCCH and FFN providers with Quality Improvement Navigators to enhance the quality oftheir child care program– Colorado’s professional development registry, the Colorado Shines Professional DevelopmentSystem (PDIS) and early childhood career pathways-Technical Assistance with becoming a Level 1 provider in the Colorado Shines system o Get licensed by the State of Colorado o Register with the Provider Hub to receive Colorado Shines program log-in information o Sign in to the Provider Hub and add basic information to your program’s profile o Assists new and existing FCCH providers with the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program-(CCCAP), and supports them obtaining a fiscal agreement to enroll children in the program,and helps them develop a relationship with the county human service department-Recruits new family child care home providers, and helps them with the licensing process-Make sure family child care home providers are connected to resources to successfully operatetheir business-Support to develop an emergency preparedness plan-Provides information to help families connect with neededresources-Legal Exemption from Child Care Licensing information-Referral to SLV Family Friend & Neighbor Child Care ProviderGrants & Support Program
