Hands-on learning, relationship building, and social connections curriculum.

Seedlings Training for Early Childhood Educators, and FFN providers. This science based curriculum blends principles from neuroscience around brain growth and development. The 10-week courses explain how stress impacts the brain, body, and behaviors over a lifetime and how it is shared from adults to children. It provides support for adults to break the inter-generational transmission of toxic stress, promotes mental wellness, and offers coping strategies in a safe, judgement free space with support and resources. We offer tailored implementation options for group sessions, with flexible choices for location, date and time. Modules include:

  • Toxic stress and its transmission
  • (ACES) Adverse Childhood Experiences Scale
  • Child/adult brain development and behaviors
  • Understanding childhood experiences and their effects on development
  • Emotional regulation
  • Growth mindset and achieving goals
  • Stress and its impact on the body
  • Supportive network and relationship building
